- Delivers high quality permeate water while minimizing CAPEX and OPEX.
- Provides excellent durability resulting in stable, long-term performance.
- Provides effective cleaning performance, robustness and durability due to its wide cleaning pH range (1-13) and chemical tolerance and the support of DuPont technical representatives.
The 8-inch FilmTec BW30HR-440 membrane is designed to be compatible with various industrial RO water purification systems. This membrane is made from thin-film composite polyamide and is used for treating brackish water.
FilmTec membrane filters are used in applications where high efficiency and high quality, long service life, high permeate water production capacity, and the highest water purity and quality are required.
Advantages of the 8-inch FilmTec BW30HR-440 Membrane
The BW30HR-440 membrane filter is used for industrial water treatment applications and, due to its high-quality water production and maximum salt rejection rate, is also applied in the treatment of brackish water for drinking purposes. The advantages of the FilmTec BW30HR-440 industrial membrane include the following:
- Production of high-purity water (highest salt rejection rate) and high permeate flow rate
- Long service life due to the use of the latest semi-permeable membrane manufacturing technology and the ability for continuous cleaning
- Stable performance across a wide pH range
- Higher water production volume at high operating pressure compared to BW30-400 and BW30-440i models, in a shorter time, resulting in reduced water treatment costs
This product consists of three types of layers: polyester layers for membrane protection, polysulfone layers, and a polyamide layer. The top visible surface of the membrane is made of polyamide. The combination of these three materials enhances the membrane’s mechanical strength.
The BW30HR membrane is capable of removing elements such as silica, boron, ammonium, and nitrate from water.
The BW30HR membrane utilizes iLEC™ technology in its structure. This technology significantly reduces system operating costs and minimizes the risk of water leakage, while also improving water quality.
The iLEC (Interlocking Endcaps) technology is used to reduce system operational costs and eliminates the possibility of leakage at the O-rings, which could otherwise reduce the quality of the treated water. In addition to these benefits, this industrial membrane also offers very high resistance to scaling and fouling.
