Crystal ultra filtration filter

In the KRISTAL UF filter, Hyflux crystal polymer hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes offer a higher level of performance, efficiency and reliability.

Designed with cross-flow and outside-in operation, Kristal membranes offer the ability to produce stable and high-quality product water even in critical feedwater conditions.

These membranes are made of PVFD, which, in addition to being hydrophilic and uniform infiltration, is resistant to chemicals and prevents sedimentation, resulting in high-quality water.

Also, the ability to have a high permeability and long service life and the ability to design automatic backwash are other features of these filters that increase system efficiency.

The KRISTAL ultrafiltration filter can be used directly in water purification or as a pre-treatment in RO systems, and these filters are also capable of recycling wastewater or treating industrial effluents.

KRISTAL Ultrafiltration (UF) filters were designed and manufactured in Singapore in 1999. The company is a subsidiary of Hyflux and has benefited from the experience and technology of that company in the manufacture of these filters.

Crystal filters have been used in more than 1,000 industrial installations worldwide, from the largest desalination plants to small and medium-sized water treatment plants in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and other parts of the world. In fact, these membranes are used in more than 40% of desalination, reverse osmosis, seawater (SWRO) pre-treatment systems worldwide, including the largest SWRO desalination plant in China and the world’s largest SWRO desalination plant in Algeria.
